Soufrière town here in Saint Lucia, is situated on a bay of the island’s west coast, southwest of Castries; the capital.
The town is exceptionally picturesque. It is a fishing port and the centre of a coconut- and lime-producing district and is home of the famous drive in volcano andsulphur springs from which Soufrière takes its name, as well as the World Heritage Site the Twin Peaks' Gros Piton and Petit Piton.
